Waiting is killing me!

Post by Desirae327 » Tue Nov 18, 2014 3:42 pm

I got a great deal on a 50 gallon with wood stand that matches my wood floors. REALLY wanting to get my crabs out of the 40 on a black stand. It seems only 2 or 3 want to come out at a time! The others I assume are molting because some have been down for a month to a couple weeks. I did a quick set up on the 40 and wanting to go all out on th3 50 and set it up how I really want. ..Will they ever all be up at once?! Any suggestions?

You will hate me for saying it but you might need to have two tanks going at once! Maybe wait until the majority are up and then you only have to wait out the last few.

sadly she's right Image I've upgraded twice (not counting the KK I brought them home in and the joke of a habitat petsmart sold me in the beginning) and both times I had crabs down in the old tat. I've maybe gone an entire month since crabbing where I didn't have two tanks going at once. I'm waiting on my last 2 to come up in the old tote and then hopefully I'll have all of my crabs in the same tank! I'm finally satisfied with the size and they will finally all be in the same place :) honestly, I'm gonna feel weird at first only have one tank to look after (not including the isopods lol). It can be a pain but it's best for the crabs.

Dang :| will probably have to wait until spring or summer then. I've spent so much on heaters and other stuff for the tat. Can't do it all again!
