THIS LITTLE DARLING NEEDS TO SWITCH ASAP...hate that I can't just ask her/him. So shy.

This little girl didn't make it. She moved into a hide and just stayed there not moving. When I got up this morning, her shell had been turned over and looked empty. Since it's painted and flaking, I reached in, hoping to remove the shell. She was still in it. She has a slightly fishy smell but her pincher and other legs are limp. I used the handle of a spoon to check and there is zero resistance when I touched her.

I'm so sorry for the loss  Sometimes, no matter what we do, new crabs can't handle the PPS.
When you've been crabbing for so long, you don't even know how many crabs you have now...

Sorry about flowers. :/
Her claw in that pic looks really bad, it's hollow. She probably just didn't have the energy to pull through a molt.
