I also use a humidifier...what kind of water do you guys put In it? I fill mine with tap water but I'm afraid that the untreated water creating humidity falling in my tank could be harmful?

You'll want to use dechlorinated. My humidifier holds just about a gallon of water so I just keep a gallon of dechlorinated water ready to top it off/refill it as needed.

Yeah definitely use dechlorinated water. RODI would be even better. Keeps any minerals or nasty stuff out of your humidifier, since they can be a struggle to get inside and clean sometimes. When I first started, I just used dechlorinated water and I would get mold built up weekly on the inside chamber that you have to unscrew to get open.
