Mixing substrate! Ultratherm and a new temp and humidity gauge will be here Friday! Need a couple more bags of sand and to get my kid pieces cut and we will begin the moving process! I'm so excited!
I know Frodo, my big dude will LOVE it. He is a climber and is upside down on the lid all the time. He recently molted so u hope I get to see him enjoy the tank for a long time before he heads down again. My E will be happy as well! At least 11 inches of sub to dig in and plenty to climb!

Oh, I dumped a bunch more shells in after I took some of these pictures. Plus another basket with shells.

Is the wood hide you have on the 2nd level pine? Make sure it's not because it can be harmful to the crabs. Great crabitat btw

People have used those hides for years without trouble.

For some reason it set off alarms. Possibly just because I never see it mentioned so I just thought it was unsafe.

Looking good!
I have had one of those hides (or at least a similar one) in the 75g since I set it up a year and a half ago.

Thank you Callalily! Moved some more peeps over. Gandalf the Ecuadorian is not disappointing.
I knew he'd love climbing! I'm glad I have a good setup that can accommodate him and hopefully a friend for him soon!

I would just keep an eye on that green stuff..crabs like to chew plastic stuff at times. I have used those half logs before the only trouble I ever had was the got moldy but I had them down in my sand.. p.s. you will be 're doing that tank over and over and over and over.. and EVERYTHING you see is a oh...I wonder if this can be used in my crab tank??? Lol!

Hahaha! I know I will! I'm already thinking of things to get and I haven't put everything I have into it yet! Hopeless addict.
I'll keep an eye out. Haven't noticed any wear on the plants yet, but thanks for the heads up!
