On the way to petsmart for 2 new gauges help

Post by Menders » Mon Aug 29, 2016 5:08 pm

I hope so.. I have the zoo med analog one too and I know it is off by 13 % for humidity after calibration. I am worried about the temp more than anything. I know my sub is sandcastle consistency so it should be good on humidity.. Right? It seems as though once I get one thing correct the other is off. I finally popped the plastic off of the front of the zoo med one because the temp was on 70
And didn't move. Even with the addition of a larger UTH. Once I touched the gauge it popped. Apparently it got stuck. Now it is reading properly. I tried sitting an AcuRite inside and the humidity read properly but the temp was way off. I swear, this tank reading business is going to be what sends me over the edge!

It's not easy my all living things analog is my only accurate gauge the rest are all off its very frustrating. I'm going to try a flukers digital of my wife with let me we kind of got into a fight about me buying so many but she needs to understand most of them JUST DON'T WORK !
