Cavipes at PetCo!

Update! I went back to PetCo today to get some moss for the habitat, and the employee who discovered the molter with me came running up. "He's alive! He didn't die!" So we squealed and jumped up and down for a while, and then she very carefully showed me where he was. I was thrilled beyond belief. I told her I would take him when he's all done; right now he's just a squishy pink hermie. He looks like a baby mouse! So I just thought I'd let everyone know that there are some good petstore employees out there who will listen when you give them advice. Tracy did exactly what I told her to do, and she saved the hermit crab. Yay Tracy!

oh wow! YAY! Taht's is so totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I want some workers down here that are like that!!

One last update: The little crab has died. Tracy thought she could have done more, but she did everything right for him. We talked about him for a second, but we both got teary-eyed quickly, so I left. I'm about 90% sure that was the Cavipes, so it's especially sad. Anyway, I just thought I'd post because we'd both become attached to the little guy. We were really rooting for him.
