Yes, the Coenobita seems to have lot of studies and science type info posted. I do like her theories on PPS and it makes sense to me. The owner of the site is HCA member Chestersmom (I think) and she is working with a vet on studies for medications for the infections hermies sometimes get... correct me if I am wrong anyone. I am getting ready to take my son to preschool and don't have time to check my facts... relying on memory.

I was pretty lucky with my crabs that they came from pretty decent conditions.

i understand that it probably hurts to see the little guy in pain. i remember my crabbie Cancer died of PPS, although i hoep you have better luck with a different crab, or hopefully, your hermie is gonna be ok. and yes, cats are easier to take care of, but i have a black thumb for fish just keep faith in having crabs, because they are good pets
