I'm in Canada. I've unfortunately forgotten my login info for Revenue Canada or I could check it there. I fought with it a few weeks ago for something else and couldn't get it set up. Hopefully after it comes in I can try again.

So, getting the table Sunday afternoon w00t heh I was disappointed when I went to Walmart this morning as they didn't have any salt water mix, just the stuff for adding salt for freshwater fish.

Got the table yesterday! It's exactly what I wanted, so I'm stoked. I'm cleaning up in the room and decided to show a preview of how I want to set it up. Of course it's just balanced right now.

So, in hopes of my taxes coming tomorrow, I took measurements for the lid! The top one is the "frame" for the terrarium. The hole in the bottom piece is going to be for the UVB light. I'm getting one of those fixtures that's a dome over the bulb, so should keep the humidity in. The other two tiny holes will be for the aquarium tubing for the pools. I am debating another set cut in enough to fit cords for possible filters for the pools.

So, as it's incredibly slow at work, this is what happened as I had my art supplies for something else. Fingers and claws crossed my taxes show up tomorrow so I can finally get building!!!

So, I am super excited to say that my taxes are due for deposit on Thursday!! (I finally got into my Canada Revenue account today). I'm working the next five days, so plan on grabbing as much of the smaller stuff as I can before work, then the big stuff (specifically those 3 50LB bags of play sand ) on my days off next week. I'm not sure what's happening with my adoption just yet as maymay has been very busy, but here's hoping I'll be a (returning) crab owner in the next couple of weeks!!

So, bill catch up unfortunately ate my plans for my dream tat, but we all have to start somewhere! My ultratherm should be in this week sometime, and I picked up my absolute essentials today (it's 1:30am, but I'm still awake so same day lol).





Three 50lb (23kg) bags of "Beach Sand" (was told it's exactly the same as Play Sand just a little more fine grain and available more often year round), 3lbs of Instant Ocean, a long fake plant, a sheet of coconut fiber, and a ZooMed dual analog gauge.
Everything from Petsmart, other than the salt, was on sale which was wicked. I'm trying to calibrate the gauge, though am having to take a second round at it. Hopefully it will work alright until I order a digital one I like as the choices at Walmart and Petsmart weren't great.

Unfortunately, dragging the bags of sand around killed my back and my shoulder is still pretty sore from last week, so I haven't gotten started on setup yet. After housework tomorrow we'll see how I'm feeling though!

Can I request this to be archived to start a new thread? Now that I will have everything come Tuesday (other than some cholla wood, two small filters, and digital gauges I ordered online), I'd like to start with the building process, but with a fresh thread.
