Argh! that must have bneen beyond frusterating, if that happened to me, I'd no doubt be ripping my hair out. At least you got the money for the gas and hopefully you'll still get your straws!

Ugh! I would have been SO frustrated! I'm glad that it turned out in your favor though. Hopefully they will get some in soon!

PetCo just called and gave me a bunch of BS on how they were going to special order them for me, but when they talked to their supplier they said they weren't going to send straws anymore

. She said it wasn't their "season"

. I guess I won't be getting any straws or shopping at PetCo

That stinks! They can't get another store to send them in? Keep checking with them, when I was looking for Straws for Hermiegirl last month they said they weren't in season and wouldn't be in season until the end of summer but they got them in a few weeks later.

Are there any HCA members close to you that can find them at a store close to them and ship them to you?

I've talked to both managers at the store and the district manager, do you know who would be next in line? I was thinking of that myself.

I'm thinking now that they probably never had them in the first place, but had jumbo PPs and misidentified them. They didn't want to admit they were wrong, so told you they 'sold out' instead. What a crock! So sorry you have had to go through all this hassle Momtodixie!

interesting IF they did have Straws how fast they sold out now who in their right mind is gonna pass up sales like that.....does the link over here have any better info>>>>>>>>>>>>

Regional Manager would be next in line just to let you know. If you want Straws that bad, my store still has beautiful ones. If you are willing to pay for them and the S & H I'll get them and send them to you.
