Update on my crabitat

So lots of people were in critisiation of my crabitat so I got a new one.
Here are its commodities.
-10 gallon aquarium.
-play sand 5 inches
-coconut hidey hole
-5 natural shells
-climbing wood throughout cage
-shallow fresh and saltwater dishes
-constant fresh food source
-cage misted daily!
-temp and humidity- 79

I really would love to see some pictures; as it sounds like a really nice tank. There's nothing that worth faulting IMO!

It is looking good!

At most I would just remove that rock/sponge thing from one of the pools, but otherwise it looks really good!

It's a great starting point to develop the addiction.

It's solidified coral that I was using to help them prop themselves up in the freshwater dish but it's out now

It looks really nice, how big are your crabs? The water dishes look like they may be shallow unless you have tiny or micro sized crabs. Your crabs should be able to fully submerge in the water enough so the water can get in there shells. As long as they have a way out (that piece of coral would work or some unable shells like ones that have holes or are the wrong shape, not a painted one, only natural) you can use almost anything for water bowls or pools. Some of them even like swimming in the water. They can stay submerged for 30 minutes, so if you see one just sitting at the bottom that's okay as long as they have a way out. Plastic food storage containers work well and can be bought at the dollar store.
