Good store for cholla?

Post by shanedaman112 » Sat Mar 19, 2016 4:16 pm

It's finally time to buy some cholla wood. I've never looked for any, so I don't know who sells it cheap (but good quality). I've got this idea for etsy, so I would need to get it regularly and not at outrageous price. Much thanks :)

If you're looking for cholla in bulk, check out ebay. There are quite a number of vendors who sell untreated cholla in large quantities, i.e., the posting below:

This is a good price as most 6" pieces of cholla are around $5 each so, even with $25 shipping, the cost per piece is under $1.
PPs are Big Enzo, Charles Paris and Mr Pinch
On the Big Beach in the Sky: Murray, Gino, Oscar, Gordon, Ignatz, Harry and King Felix the Pale
Also Mom to Imogene the Syrian Hamster

I get Cholla Wood on Amazon, for a pretty good price, but also Hobby Lobby for 2.50 a log. I am not sure where you live but craft stores usually stock them pretty inexpensively.
