HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I had a crab bury itself before I got the crabitat in the location I wanted it. It will be down four weeks tomorrow and I'd really like to have the space the tank is sitting freed up before I have a birthday party for a couple of my kids next weekend. Can we carry the crabitat downstairs gently, or do we need to wait the crab out? Thanks!

I've moved an entire 40 gallon to a new house while crabs were under. As long as the crab can't get dug up, it should be fine
