Its that time of year again

Springtails/fungus gnats are back I deal with this yearly in the spring and I have to say its my least favorite thing about owning hermit crabs. The problem is how fast these creepy crawlies multiply they jusy weird me out! Any ideas on how to exterminate the pest besides my usual dumping replacing and boiling of substrate dishes toys and shells?

I feel your pain. I'm going through a major infestation too. I plan to ride it out since they aren't harmful.

I wish I had that courage they just multiply so fast and run fast too. It freaks me out every time I pick up a hermit crab and two or three crawl on my hand. I have to compulsively wash my hands 6 times after
