My UTH was accidentally turned off for maybe 24hrs
We are in 10-14 degrees at night here in Austraila...
Will crabs be okay? Hoodini Henry crab has been buried for maybe 6 days now..,
If he started a moult will he be affected by the fact UTH was not on...?
I have since put gaff tape over power point switch so my 3yr old can't go into his sisters room turn it off...

Only time will tell, but it's sounds like it wasn't for all that long so they're probably ok.

I sincerely thank you for your reply
I'm hoping so... I'm trying very hard to get our tank set up correctly.
It is challenging because we have change of season here and therefore I'm finding it difficult to gauge
I'm buying a larger UTH mat ASAP
Our newest crab Muffin Moonblazer changed shells immediately when I got my childhood shell collection out of storage. I collected majority of shells myself so I know they are both safe and thx to the outstanding info on the forum I can be sure I have this criteria correct!
Muffin had a badly broken shell opening when I adopted from pet shop.
I successfully calibrated the hygrometer and have now stabilised humidity
Just need to source safe sand for substrate when buying the UTH.
I'm doing the best I can given our family circumstances and the help and information from this forum has been priceless. At some point I will donate to support this worthy association.

For a quick fix, you can always drape a blanket around the tank to help boost/keep in warmth.
