Whoa! This has never happened before

This morning I woke to find a virtually empty food dish. There were a few sea weed scraps and a couple of pieces of shrimp beside it, but other than that nothing!
Maybe my new Straws are super piggies! [smilie=pig.gif]
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I'm just amazed at how much a difference the new crabitat has made. My guys are more active, friendlier, and eating more since moving in. Even the crabs who I never before saw off of the ground level are hanging from vines and checking out the other levels.

Just hope they aren't burrying it & saving it for later!
One time I fed mine scrambled eggs & I thought, "WOW! They really liked them! They are all gone!" About a week later, the tank started stinking like armpit...or maybe more like dirty feet. I found the eggs during the next deep clean looking rather green!

Eeeww!
I have a habit of sniffing my tank every time I open the lid "just in case", you know? The funny thing is last night I forgot to defrost one of my preparred hermie meals and everything in the bowl was dry; dried shrimp, fish flakes, blood worms, dry roasted seaweed, and some commercial food. The only thing that was fresh was coconut. The rest is stuff they usually barely touch.
Silly crabs!

Hee hee, I sniff the tank every time I open it too! It's been pretty useless lately though, since my nose hasn't worked well all month, but at least that keeps me from throwing up from strong smells! [smilie=faint.gif] LOL
Last night I caught Bulldozer in the food dish attacking the orange slice. He ate all of it except the peel! [smilie=clap.gif]

Oh yeah, I've read it. In fact, I spent the past couple months saying I would
never get Straws because they were too delicate. However, this new crabitat is operating so awesomely, I decided to go for it.
I can hardly wait for "the magic hour" when my crabs start getting up and active again.
