Which is the most common "exotic" in your local pe
I'm curious about this because I'm always seeing posts in which people mention that they're having a hard time finding a certain species of crab.
For example, Es and Cavs are really hard to find around here, but Rugs are almost as common as PPs.

Good poll Q. I see straws most often but Rugs a close second (right now I want a couple Rugs and can't find any, where straws I find frequently right now). Indo's I've seen the next most often, I've almost never found Es, and can't think that I've ever seen a Cavie.
Last spring I wasn't looking for Ruggies and I saw them everywhere, in the most wonderful colors so they were hard to pass up (but I did-lack of room at the time). Right now I want a couple of Ruggies so badly I can't hardly stand it, I've wasted a full tank of gas looking all over town for them. My daughter and I call it 'Ruggie Hunting'.

I edited that choice in.just_a_little_crabby wrote:You left off "none of the above". Around here the choices are PPs, PPs, or PPs.

Around here at PetCo they have the most ruggies, and strawberrys. In local places they have ruggies, purple pinchers. I have never been able to find an E.

Crabbing since 7/4/04 - 10 years!

WOW!!! It was hard for me to decide between ruggies and straws!!! I seem to see them both very often at petco, but I went with those little ruggie buggies!!!
When I bought Snowy, I saw TONS of ruggies!!!!!!! The majority of the hermies were ruggies!!!!!!!!! They were all so cute and little!!!!!!! I didn't see one bigger than my Speckles!!! Once I lifted up a log and I saw TONS of ruggies under it!!!!!!!
The ruggies were taking over the tank and the last time I was there, I had seen more straws than ruggies!!!!!!!!! There have been times when I saw more straws than ruggies, but not recently. I've seen some pps but not many and I hardly ever see cavipes. The most I've ever seen at Petco was one cavipe in the tank!!!!
They are sooooooooo rare!!! I've seen a couple indos just like pps, but they are less common. And of course, I never see my favorite little coochy woochy faced little baby Ecwees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
