I'm just wondering, isn't the point of product reviews to collect feedback on certain products? It's not like the info in the threads would get outdated, if the items are still being sold. :?

So others can see if there is already info on a product that they might want to consider buying.

Also because New Products coming out today may be reviewed here and then As time Marches on the Products will go into The Archive for future References

But products that aren't new are supposed to be reviewed, too. What if I want to review a product that is archived? Would I have to make a new topic for it?

Hi Scythan!

You make a really good point! I went ahead and proposed that we remove the Product Review archive forum and place all its contents into the Current Product Review.

Ill keep you posted on what happens!!

THanks for your great idea!

I thought that after so many days that threads that weren't replied to would automatically deleted. Is that wrong?

I was just thinking that if it was an old item, it would disappear & would have to be brought up in another topic. Sorry, don't really know how the forums work in that aspect, but I'd hate to loose good info if that's the case. :D

Right now, we dont have any of the "auto-pruners" on. So that means that the admin/mods and ACT and manually archiving and deleting posts. The problems with the auto-prune was that we WERE losing valuable info, which is why we have resorted to manually going thru all the posts and either saving them or deleting them...all the important and good stuff is saved this way! :)

Right now we are trying to restructure the archiving process to make it less messy. So hopefully well get the rest of the old stuff into the archives soon! :)
