Jedediah, quick question

Post by Guest » Sun Apr 23, 2006 10:13 am

Hi Jedediah, I have a quick question on mites. I have a friend that is having problems getting rid of them so she is going to try the predatory mites. However she has a concern. Since she has had such a hard time getting rid of the mites, she is scared that they could have gotten out of the tank and gotten onto other pets, dogs, cats, ect and the humans. Im pretty sure these mites (the bad ones) stay with just certain species such as crabbies, ect, but I wanted to double check for her to make sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Sorry, I just didn't see this
The mites that are found in crabitats are either mites that feed on plant matter/crab food/poop ect. or on invertebrates, they don't and can't feed on mammals.
