strange?

ok my lil crab moilted last tues and i thought by now he shouldof came up could there be something rong w/ the molt?

Not Neccessarily (sp) , mine molted and didn't come up for weeks after. They need to rest a bit after such an ordeal.....unless you smell that he has died, just wait and see....(the hermie mantra

yea fritz' molt took longer too then the other ones which made me kinda nervous, but Iâ€™ve heard that some crabs even took a month for the molting to get over, so don't worry some crabs are slower than others

Tasha's right. All crabs are different. some small crabs will molt over a weekend and one the same size and species may take several weeks. A large hermit crab can take up to three months to complete a molt from building their perfect nest, doing the molt and then resting and eating the exo afterwards. Our job is the hardest: Keeping them safe from the tank mates and waiting.

Waiting. That's super hard.
