Hermit Crab Under

So! It's been a while since I last posted on the HCA, sadly. But come bearing news, maybe. Up until yesturday I've been using sandblasting sand as my substrate and my hermits have been surface bound. Yesturday I put in eco-bedding. It took literally half a night for my largest, White Shell, to decide to plunge under. There's a small indent in the substrate where I'm pretty sure he went under at. Now I know the panic some people get! At first you have to fight the instinct to uncover him thinking he may be trapped. Oy! Going to be long few weeks.
