HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I bought 5 and ended up with 8. I was a bit worried because where I live I was told Express might be 2 days. They did not come in the mail early this afternoon. I saw online that the package had left Portland. They arrived later. I was slowly tipping them out of the box. One was naked and I managed to stick his abdomen to the packing tape (!). I stuck him in a cup with shells and a bit of water on the bottom. My son thinks he found the shell he was suppose to have. I think he is right because that is the one he is wearing now.

I also have two very tiny crabs. One is like the size on the head of a penny. I have tried to take pictures by dh is the one who uploads them for me. I see one has made a shell change already.

They all look great despite me.

That is good they are all alive, I imagine they will need major destress time. Cant wait to see them

Aww...Poor guys! I think Herm-EZ's right, they will need some major destress time. Glad your streaker got back into a shell though.
