HCA: Hermit Crab Association

so i havnt had peace of mind in months! everytime one comes up another goes down before i can do anything! Im desperatley wanting to upgrade the tat but all they want to do molt!


first i had three, mierc, catsro, and putin. mierco goes down, then putin surface molts, quickly, and dies soon after finishing
then catsro goes down= no crabs! finally after a month mierco came up. i felt so bad for him being so alone so i bought two new small guys, still unamed one who looks identical to the crab who is the fourth on from the left up top and one very dark purp? one with only three legs! the three legged one went down immediatley, havnt seen him in a while. last night mierco and the new light one were pigging out, this morning i wake up and mierco and castro (suddenly very shy) are snuggling!


When will they let me redo the tat?!?!!?

Well, I guess it's good they're molting , but until they stop you're going to have to hold off.

Or.. if you have room to keep both 'tats running for a little while you could set the new one up and move the crabs that are above ground into that one and as the others surface move them out. Good luck!
