HCA: Hermit Crab Association

So, I brought home some new shells for my hermit crabs. After boiling them, I put them in the crabitat. After that, I went out to get a haircut. About an hour later, I came back, and guess what? One changed shells! I was so happy! Then, another few hours later, my sister noticed the other crawling on a shell. I looked at it and decided to just sit there and watch it. After a few minutes of moving around the shell, he switched into this one! right in front of our eyes! I couldn't believe it! This is the third shell change that my hermits have done, and one of them was overnight, and he switched right back. I think my sister and I are really lucky!

It's really cool to see a shell change! I still will sit and watch them when they start checking out a shell. All the checking they do before committing to move to the new shell is really interesting.
