Is any one elses strawberry's tank trashers? I thought my pp's where tank trashers until my strawberrys came along. hehe

Yes, they love to dig. I gave mine 10" of substrate in a 29 gallon and they dig all the time.

My strawberries don't dig much. I find them to hang out on the surface more than pretty much any of the other species I've owned, which surprises me because everything I have read says that they're avid diggers. I offer a LOT of cover on the surface of my tank right now, though, which might have something to do with it. I can usually crane my head a little and peek around in there and see a few of them at any given time. I have Es that act almost the same way.

Your strawberrys sound like mine hehe! They love to hangout on the surface. I have Tina of substtye for them. I think they are just so big they have no choice but to trash the tank. Hehe
