Chirping...?

I heard that chirping is a bad thing. My two new crabs (granted, today is their first day) have been chirping quite often throughout the day. There aren't any signs of aggression towards each other, in fact, the last time I saw them they were huddled burried in the moss pit together. But now that I can't see them, I hear the chirping again. Doesn't seem like it's like, screaming chirping... but it goes in waves. As if they're talking with one another. I don't know if this is what's going on or not..or if I should turn on the lights and check them out.
I'm in that new-animal phase where if they so much as shift they get my attention. XD
So, is normal new-home chirping normal? Or should I be concerned?
(PS. There are plenty of shells around the tank. They are a bit larger than I bargained, and I only am now down to about 4 shells that fit them. 5 including one that is about the same size shell they're in now. I haven't seen any acts of shell fighting or anything like that and they've been sharing the food nicely as well as the pools)
