Crab laying on back...

Has anyone else ever had their crabs specifically put themselves on their backs (so their heads and legs face towards the ceiling) and just lay there?
I have a few that purposefully just roll over, and go limp and let themselves hang out of their shells on their backs for minutes at a time, and when they feel like righting themselves, they do.
They look like tiny crab shaped dogs, begging....
They are so strange.

My largest crab Venus does this all the time, she likes to wedge her shell next to something so she can hang out her shell.
It is quite silly. x3

I had a crabbie laying on it's side for a half hour while eating. Here's my post about it with a pic!

That is a good possibility they did both just change into those shells and I had rinsed them.

lolz I saw Friendlyfeat doing that once. His antenna were slowing moving around and he looked really comfortable. It looked like he was watching the "stars" hermit are odd. I'm glad to know mine isn't alone.
