Sheldon tries to tear up the tank

I just gave my crabs fresh water, some new food, and one hermit got a bath. Lately all three of them have only come up from their hiding places to eat but not tonight. I went in to mist the tank and Roger was on top of the water dish while Sheldon was trying to dig under the same water dish. Roger hung on as if his life depended on it and I was surprised the dish didn't tip over. Roger finally climbed down and when the dish settled down. Rambo probably got kicked out from under the water dish. Sheldon wants everything to himself. It was kind of fun to watch though, especially since they've been digging around for the last couple of days.

Stories like this is why I love hermit crabs; crazy, weird and sometimes just funny behavior. I had once changed the sand in my tank, making it all straight. In the morning it had looked like an A-bomb went off inside: Somebody spent all night digging holes and making large hills. Some crabbies...
