How to Insulate?

Post by PinchersAndShells » Mon Aug 29, 2016 7:19 pm

I was wondering how you might go about insulating a tank. What you use, etc. If someone could help me out I'd be super appreciative!

There are some brands of UTH that insulation is not recommended. That said, most of us use Ultratherm UTH, which you can insulate. I use Reflectix. Bought a large roll off of amazon but u can also purchase at local hardware stores like Home Depot. You can also use cardboard. More experienced crabbers than myself may be able to help u further :)
