Is all living things live moss good?? how do I start / make a moss pit ??

I ordered moss from TheHealthyHermit on etsy and just added it to a plastic bowl. I've also used cocohuts turned upside down as moss pits. You can use anything, a cheap basket from dollar tree, a small plastic bowl, a bathroom caddy (dollar tree sells soap dishes that work well), etc.

I took a small glass jar used for pesto sauce (from Classico) and cleaned it out. I put it on its side and filled with moss. My crabbie loves hanging out there!
