What is that white climbing grid called?

Hi,
I’m beginning a tank upgrade. I love that whit e plastic grid I see in the background of so many tanks. What is that stuff called? I have “crafting mesh” but that’s not as sturdy.
Also, how do you attach the sturdy white grid to the tank?

It’s called egg crate light diffuser; at my Lowes it is with all of the fluorescent lighting stuff. It comes in a big sheet, and you can use pliers or snips to snap off the pieces to keep it from being sharp.

As far as attachment, for me, the sand will hold it up, and I found these sticky flat things that are made to attach something to it with a zip tie so I’ll do that up top too to be sure. Hth

Oh I get it, it goes all the way down to the bottom of the tank. Good thing I asked before I put in my substrate!

Yep, egg crate or light diffusers is what it's called.

We cut it so it goes to the bottom of the substrate. We also use Flukers tension rods to support the top so crabs can't pull it away at the top.

We cut it so it goes to the bottom of the substrate. We also use Flukers tension rods to support the top so crabs can't pull it away at the top.
