Your soil looks kind of dry, I'd water it a bit more (tip though, chia seeds will literally grow in wet cement, they just pop out of the soil/sand/EE and keep growing until your crabs demolish them).

Yes, I watered it after the image. I looked at the side and I saw a ton of dry EE, so yeah lol

Day 10 I believe: First little sprout! I know the EE looks dry, but I have a yellowish lamp so the way the light hits it it looks dry. But I promise, it’s watered!
