popsicle sticks

Post by crabs_lex » Sat Sep 05, 2020 10:59 pm

could someone tell me if I can use these I know they don't say natural but they don't smell like chemicals or anything bad
I'm pretty sure they just smell like wood
also if I can use them should I boil them first or rinse well in saltwater?

Food-safe would be better, however others have done crab crafts with craft sticks in the past so it probably doesn’t matter.

They mold over time, though, so a soaking in saltwater may be beneficial. Note that glue doesn’t always stick well to damp wood.
