Clay safe?

Post by Hermiecrab » Tue Sep 14, 2021 4:59 pm

I was wondering if I could use clay in the crabitat once it was completely dry. It says 'safe and non toxic' on the container, but doesn't list ingredients. Thanks in advance!

I looked up that brand on Amazon and many of their clays are "non-hardening". Those def wouldn't be safe because the crabs could pick and eat at it. I also saw one of their clays that says it dries flexible. I'd be wary of crabs being able to pick at that one too. Not sure what specific kind you have from that brand.
