2nd Level Idea

Hello! I have recently came up with a fun idea for a second level! My idea was to take the mats that people put on the bottom of their lizard tanks and use that as a second level (I found one made out of coconut fiber on chewy). My plan is to attach the coconut fiber mat to the side of the tank with suction cups (I found some suction cups on Amazon that had good reviews from people with high humidity tanks) and use 6in cholla wood (Also on chewy) to make a ramp for my crabs to get up there. Do you have any concerns and also what should I put up there? I heard people put shells on a second level, but I’m afraid they will fall and break. I am about to remodel their tank and put the second level up. I will give you updates. Thank you!

A second level sounds awesome, as ling as there us a secure way up and down they should be good, shells would prob be find bc they land on sand or soil but just in case the hermit crabs fall i would not put it too high up
