Paver Sand?

Post by Guest » Sun Sep 11, 2005 10:11 am

Today I realized that I accidently used paver sand as my substrate instead of play sand. The paver sand has been in my tank for about 4 weeks now. Is this a problem?

Paver sand differs from play sand in just the grain. Meaning... play sand is litte a courser then paver sand. Paver sand is suppose to be really fine sand... little grains are smaller... I wouldn't think anything else would be different from that but read the package and see what it says, if anything.

Sometimes regular sand has chemicals in it. I don't remember what exactly but it says it on the bag. It also says, not safe for children or not safe for sandboxes or something like that.
