Fluker's Digital Thermometer-Hygrometer.... ????

I have seen lots of negitive reviews about the Fluker's Digital Thermometer-Hygrometer... and i was wondering if maybe that was just a bad shipment or something, and if they are any better now...

i want to get one, but with all the reviews i've seen, that are all posted in 2005, i was wondering, seeing that it's 2006 now, if maybe they have fixed the problems they have had in 2005... Can anyone here clearify that for me?

I got one of those, and the sticky velcro didn't stick in the humidity, and it took a swim in the salt water bowl. Because I spent $20 on it, I was really mad. Then, I found the $6 ones at Walmart, and have bought 2 of them and have had no problems whatsoever. And if they take a dip in the water, I feel much better replacing a $6 gauge than a $20 one.

on this $6 gauge you got at walmart, can you post a picture of it? or give me a website that has it?

I went to wal-mart the other day, and i didnt see any hygrometer/temp combo gauges there... maybe i wasent looking in the right place...

I also tried looking on www.walmart.com and i didnt find any there eather.

I notice Wal-Marts site doesn't carry nearly as much as the store, I posted a pic on the other thread where you asked.
