Bah, just my luck.... Walmart is all out of those thermometers... so i picked up a more expensive one ($12), and more advanced one... but i dont think it is going to work out very well.... i may end up returning it...
Its a bit too big and bulky....
man, im telling you, my luck is horable today.... first, my heat lamp blew... so i returned that, and got a different brand one because they were all out of the one i had... i brought that home, and it is soo dim i can barly even see the light... and it dont give off enough heat i dont think... then i went to walmart, and they didnt have the thermometer/hygrometer i wanted

ok... this is real weird.... my digital thermometer says the temp in the tank is 83 F... and humidity is 61%.... but my analog meters say 75 F and 78% Humidity.... something is not right here.....
Anyone have any advise?
Here is a picture of the thermo/hygrometer:
Edit: The humidity has gone up to 75% so far... maybe it just needed to settle in... But the temp is realy wacked out.... im calabrating my analog thermometer.... to see if that is off (which i think it is...)

I have one of those, too, and it does take a little while to get the humidity level settled. As for the temp, I would be more inclined to believe the digital one, instead of the analog, but it is possible that the digital gauge is off. Your hermie tank will probably be about the same temp as your house, unless you have some kind of crabitat heat source, so go look at your thermostat to see what the AC is set at.

Yeah, i Calabrated the analog thermometer, and it was -6 points off...
I am calabrating the analog hygrometer now, so i will see how off that is.
I calabrated the hydrometer once already, and it was off -9 points, but it still dont quite match up with the digital one, so i am calabrating it one more time.
