Could I use the netting that hold onions when you buy them in my crabitat? Of course I would boil it, but I just wanted to make sure. :)

I don't have the netting at the moment, so I can't get a picture. BUT, I do know that it is usually orange. :) I don't know what kind of plastic it is...I thought plastic was just, well, plastic.

well I meant like soft plastic, gushy plastic, hard plastic etc.

Well I am thinking yes if it is not painted plastic, but it is dyed.

If it is soft plastic.. i would be concerned that the crabs may eat it. i mean.. they are probably smart enough to not eat it, but you never know.

I honestly don't think eating it would be a huge problem.
I have plastic plants in my tank that my hermit crabs try and eat all the time (they've pulled chucks off and eaten it) but they've all been fine, i'm pretty sure it just passed straight through them.
