Any one have a Reptile combo light? Have some ???'s

Reptile Combo Fluorescent Incandescent Light ESU 24"

I want to buy one for my 20 Long... Does anyone have one that uses it with a galss lid?

I was just using a clamp light which I just laid on my glass lid... well that warped my plastic hing and made the glass crack. I really want one of these combo lights and wonder if I get one will it just cause more issues with my glass lid. I need some help. I don't want to spend the money on one of these and regret the purchase.

I use them but always propped up on wood blocks--yeah it makes the heat farther away but it stops the warp/crack issues

what size bulb do you use?

will you still need a light in NC?

oh mine are small they are for my ISO's 10G.....I dont know maybe a 25W and yes the central air keeps it cool we cant figure out how to program it--that means playing on the net and I havent had a minute yet--but back to work (from home) so when I catch up I can play! Best part I dont have to worry about being caught. BUT what I was saying is yes I have been using my moonglos at night..if they were outside in this heat they would die (as I am LOL)
