Climbie/Hidey thing

So, I "invented" a climbie/hidey thing. I look a plastic flower pot, enlarged a couple of the holes in the bottom to take suction cups, and then I knitted and crocheted a kind of "cozy" thing that wraps all the way around the outside of the pot, covered the opening about 1/3 of the way up, and then had a little ladder coming off of it for access.

Then, I filled the little roped-in area with EE, and put in a little treat to attract hermies to my little climbie/hidey/diggy place. Doesn't it look cool?

Well, I wish the crabbies thought so. The response has been underwhelming to say the least

They sit in the empty flowerpot I have mounted right next to it instead. Hmmm, clearly there is more research needed

It looks really cool! A great climbing toy and hidey all in one! Congrats on creating this cool DIY project.

Thanks for the encouragement (and interest). I'm still tweaking the design to ensure no crabs are harmed in the making of this product

Someone was digging in my "hammock hut" last night because there's EE everywhere

Very clever idea! Wish I knew how to knit the right way and could remember how to crochet!
