The lowes here has the lucite stuff. They cut it and everything. Its actually cheaper to get the stuff then it is to get glass. lol and the glass from lowes craks really easily when you put a light on it. so needless to say go to lowes and get plexi glass. the lid for a 50 gallon tank was only 13.95

If you're going to have glass cut for a lid, you will probably need to get tempered glass so it won't crack.

Did you get yours up yet?

The only locking suction cups I could find were huge and since we just have a 10gal, I decided to pass. I did find some nice all plastic regular ones at Dollar Tree though and so far they seem to be working really well. I tried one on my bathroom mirror and I couldn't pull it off tugging pretty hard.

I hung my net down one end and almost halfway across the top making like a second level. The crabs have spent all day hanging around up there. I think it's a hit

I haven't had a chance to find the hardware. We were in a hurry when we were shopping last night, because we wanted to get to the pet store to see if we could find some more small hermit crabs.

I got the teeeeeeniest baby I've ever had (shell slightly smaller than a nickel), and a bigger one, since one of our E's died we thought we should get the other a species buddy.
