As you can see I haven't gotten the other water fish but I'm just going to put it mirror image of the current one. And I need to add the food clam shell but it's boiling. The basket is going to be a moss pit. The coconut climbing wall was just some extra I had that was too small for much else so it's a little resting place if tired of climbing. I'm not sure if the netting will work. I'm hoping if not I'll be on the search for different netting. But do you think this is over crowded for my 4 PPs there all currently buried and there 2 small and 2 small to mediums

This enclosure would need a lot of work before it would be suitable for crabs. All the woodwork would need to be sealed with a crab safe product.

What was the original intended use of the item? Forgive me if I missed it.

It looks great in theory but will be hard to pull off in practice.

You always want to look at the footprint of the tank before determining how many crabs you can have.

30 gallons of substrate will allow you to have 6 medium crabs and only 3 large.

Jumbos require at least 18" wide tanks.

The paint in this is going to bubble and peel from humidity and is likely toxic to the crabs.

Also how much salt did you use for the substrate?

I used a gallon of water per brick like it says on the pack. And I've used a half cup of instant ocean per gallon. So total it's 3 gallons of water 1 1/2 cup salt. Three 50lb bags of play sand and 3 bricks of EE. They originally used it for tree frogs they said they had it for about 10 years
