Tat's basically done! Although it's going to look alot better when its properly lit. Loving how it came out, this eggcrate stuff is amazing. Of course the crabs are already hard at work trying to tear it all down lol. I might have to add a little support column in the right hand corner. Also looks like my placement of the wheel was off by an inch or two unfortunately :/ that kinda stinks bc I attached it to the back board w zip ties so it cant be moved. I'll have to put a rock under it or something.

That looks amazing. I love that 'lap level' you have going around the tank. Always wanted to do one, but never actually got around to it. Looks amazing in your setup!

Looking awesome! I keep forgetting to ask, what is the mesh you're using in your salt/fresh pools? I like that it bends easy and over the bowls. Craft/crabby mesh can't do that.

This is this mesh that they use for gutters? I found it one time when I was wandering around home depot trying in vain to find egg crate

Thanks aussie! I like giving them front ledge (or 'crab walk' as I like to call it!) as a way of capitalizing on space they otherwise wouldnt be able to use. Plus my crabs used to like to sit up there looking out sometimes in my old tat. I'm pretty happy overall with how this turned out, the ledges didnt all end up in exactly the places I wanted them to be but everything still looks great. Since it's all zip tied in underneath the burlap that I zip tied over the egg crate I really cant go back and change the placement unfortunately. I finally got it top lit and it looks even better.

I looked on line at Home Depot for gutter mesh and what they have doesn't look flexible.

Its probably something ud want to check out in person. I dont know if I would have guessed this stuff would be flexible by looking at it. The really nice thing about this mesh is that it's flexible but still very stiff, much more so than craft mesh. It makes sturdier ramps.

Awesome, thank u! I'm going to look for it next time I'm out. It would work better in my pools since it's flexible.
