My wife and i went to Walmart i got everything air tube pump t valve and air stones . I'm confused how to split the tubes up to make go in both pools one air line ran from the pump than split in 2 with the t or is the t connected to the pump ? We got the salt water bubbling now but our fresh water is still until we can make 2 happen any help appreciated

When looking at the T like this one tube goes from the bottom of the T to the pump and then 2 tubes go from each side of the T, one to each pool.

We did this and it only bubbles when i pinched the tube can't figure out what's wrong seems to be a pressure issue. We have our salt water pool bubbling no issue with one tube but seems to be an issue once the t is thrown in the mix.

Does the pump have 1 or 2 tubing outlets? If it has 2 outlets then put some tape over the unused outlet and that will build up pressure in the other tube. If it is a single outlet pump try taking the air stone off the side that isn't working and see if you feel air coming out of the tube. Sometimes the air stones can come not "holey" enough.

I have one line coming out of the pump. Before the line goes into the tank, it is split with a T connector, and there are two lines and stones going into the tank.
It helps to keep both lines the same length if you want even pressure going into both pools.

Thanks that's what i did but maybe the lines aren't exactly the same length maybe that's the issue I'll check when i get home i may have to buy a new air tube.

What I've heard of some people doing before they use their air stones is connecting it to a straw and blowing through it hardly to open up some of the holes. Might help some.

I'm having the same problem. I got mine all set up not too long ago and only one is working. I set the pump below the tank on the shelf, and then used one line up to the tank, then connected it to a valve check, then a little more tube. Then the T valve is inside the tank splitting the tubes into two going down to the pool. Only the one in my FW pool is working??? I have an Aqua Culture single outlet one for 5-15 gallon tanks. On the box it says it should work for up to three air powered devices, yet no luck.
Let me know if you get yours figured out!
(I hope this isn't what "threadjacking" is, I'm just saying I'm having the same problem kinda.

)

Same issue I'm using the t valve just isn't working. At least i have one going for the salt water they barely ever go in the fresh pool so this should be ok just would look nicer and be nicer to have 2

Gonna have to try a gang valve thing. I guess and see if it works also need suction cups to hold the tubes up their not hurting anything but would look nicer stuck to the wall so gotta do that

Hmmm.... I wonder if the "Y" looking one you have works better than a "T"? I have no idea what's going on.
