Mobile crabitat stand?

Has anyone had any experience with a mobile stand for a crabitat? I'm working on a 29g build, and the room it is going in has laminate flooring. My wife likes to move our furniture around, and I was thinking it might make things easier to set up with a mobile stand so I don't have to try and remove substrate or try to muscle a 200lb tank anywhere. I would not try a mobile stand on a bigger tank for safety, but I thought a 29g might not be too bad. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend moving any crabitat around on a regular basis, you run the risk of collapsing tunnels & caves of your molting crabs

Hi! So I don't know about a mobile stand in particular but I have a 55g with about 250lbs of sub and the stand it came with is a metal stand. This would not work on my floors so, I used furniture movers (sliders). They have worked great for us!

I totally agree. I would not recommend moving the crabitat either. Hermit crabs build tunnels throughout the crabitat, and they build molting caves as well. If you move the tank and collapse the tunnels and caves the crabs that are under will suffocate. imho it's not worth it. That would be sad.

Unless you decide to plan your "redecorating" to when the crabs are topside, I personally would view this as a pointless addition to a hermit crabs tank.
