yall know those plastic pencil boxes we used in school? i found a couple on sale the other day and i caught an idea. right now i'm using one as a shell shop, i just popped the lid off and added some salt water and shells. of course it's DIRTY with EE but i'll clean it tomorrow.
but i had another idea.....
i want to pop the lid off of the other one and use it as a moss pit. but i want to make it like a cave/house with some popsicle sticks or something.
if i use popsicle sticks, what kinda glue should i use? i know hot glue doesn't work... i have some aquarium safe silicone. is there anything else yall use?
also, if anyone has some inspiration to add, i'd love to hear it! my idea makes sense in my head, but my crafty-ness doesn't always come out as beautiful in real life. haha

I have the same question about glue. I got my Halloween decorations yesterday. I accidentally dropped a skull from waist high onto the carpet. It broke into two pieces. I thought about doing the zip tie stich method we use on dirt bikes and ATV's fenders. Drill holes on each side of the crack every inch, then zip tie toghter. It works well for that but I want something a little more clean looking.
I'm thinking the aquarium silicone is the safest bet considering it holds up to moisture.

Aquarium silicon and plain superglue (cyanoacrylate) are both crab safe once fully dry and aired out, and will hold up to the humidity.

So basically if I want to glue a command hook with super glue or aquarium silicone with I would need to pull the crabs out for about 24 hours until the glue cures.

Superglue is pretty fast drying, at most a couple of minutes. If the tank is well ventilated, I think you could leave them in there... water does help increase the curing time of superglue, so spraying some water on it will give it a good kick to get it to cure.
