I want to add more things to my tank for my hermies to be able to climb and hide in. I have a 10 gal tank and have a coconut hide. I want to mainly have more things for them to climb. Any tips or suggestions on easy decorations?

You can use a bird ladder to go to a moss pit as a 2nd level. I attach craft mesh to the bird ladder so they can climb it.

Cholla wood! You can get it on Amazon.
Fish net, I hang some along the back of my tank. Command hooks work great for that!
You can find jute twine at Walmart and make your own net as well, I did that!
Hamster wheels are awesome. You can get one on Amazon for cheap. You want the solid plastic one, no holes cause their legs could get caught.
I used aquarium grass mats at first for climbing. I hung them along the back wall. The crabs loved them, they'd just hang out on it for hours.
Also Petco sells a coconut fiber wall you can hang along the back. My crabs to mine up though lol

When I get off work I'll send pics of stuff I used. I went cheap and diy because I was on a budget.

I don't think a hamster wheel would fit in a 10gal. At least not in addition to everything else.

Out of everything, a hamster wheel would be very beneficial - it provides exercise. It can also be up off of the substrate, so there could be room. You just have to get creative :)

Oops! I missed the 10 gallon part. Lol

The Cholla wood and net would fit nice! Even fake vines from walmart or Michael's. But like @GotButterflies said, a small hamster wheel could fit as well

I think I’m going to get cholla wood and I already have the coconut fiber wall but it kept falling down so I ended up just taking it out. I also am thinking of upsizing so I might be able to fit all of this in!!

Also do I have to clean the cholla wood at all or can I just take it from the package? This so the kind I’m probably getting Image

I've got some great crab friends that supply me with nice cholla, but I've also purchased some really great Cholla off of ebay - SunGrow is a well respected company, but you might find cheaper and more individual pieces that you personally like off of ebay. :) You just want to make sure that they don't treat with chemicals. :)

This is the Cholla wood I ordered. I just rinsed it off really well and added it in!

Also, if you download Etsy. TheHealthyHermit has plenty of great items to go in your tank! It's @GotButterflies store Image
There's also lots of other hermit crab stores you'll find that sell Cholla wood and other items as well, but I've only ordered from TheHealthyHermit so I can't give any reviews of those stores. Maybe someone else can?

Here is the 10 gallon we recently set up 2-3 weeks ago for two crabs we picked up from Craig's List.

I found it a bit of a challenge to decorate compared to larger tanks. Once we added the coconut hide, two water pools there was just enough area to add the shells along with the calcium and food dishes. We used a small shower caddy for the mosh pit and a piece of Cholla for access.

I like using used fish netting on the back of the tank attached with command hooks. It takes up very minimal space and gives more area for climbing.

Once they resurface I'm going to try and figure out a spot for a wheel. If you hang it upside down from command hooks you can add crafting mesh or fish net and make a small 2nd level. Possibly add a second piece of Cholla for access.Image

A fellow HCA member, @hyelah1990, sent this link on another post and I thought it would help here. This is a hide AND a hamster wheel! It even has a bowl for food or calcium powder! This would fit perfect in a 10 gallon ImageImage
