Depends on a few things. Mainly on the size of the tank, but also where you live and how cold/warm the living space gets/is kept at.
As long as the bulb keeps the temperature in the proper range (80-ish, give or take a bit), and it doesn't zap the humidity then I imagine that would be fine for daytime use.
