Found mesh
For my s and f water pools I need mesh for the sides. Apparently it is called plastic canvas! I could not find any that was big enough but then I found leaf it gutter guard ( it’s plastic) you can find it in big quantities at Home Depot for only 9 dollars. Just thought I would mention that for anyone who needs mesh for there tanks since it’s really hard to find!!!

Re: Found mesh
If you're ever in need of craft mesh, check out a craft store or Walmart. I got about 20 sheets before AC Moore went out of business.Hermielover121 wrote:For my s and f water pools I need mesh for the sides. Apparently it is called plastic canvas! Re: Found mesh
I saw some at the craft stores but all the holes were to small so that’s why I did not get it from there

Re: Found mesh
It does look small, but it seems to work ok for the crabbies. I think that's what most people on here use (that's what I use for my pools). I have egg crate on the back of my tank for them to climb, which the holes are much bigger, but it's not flexible.Hermielover121 wrote:I saw some at the craft stores but all the holes were to small so that’s why I did not get it from there

Ohhh I totally forgot about egg crate I could probably have used that too but I already paid. Do you think the stuff that I picked would be as good?

Re: Found mesh
That's ok. Egg crate isn't flexible at all, and you have to use a sharp instrument to cut it. So I wouldn't recommend it for pools. Do you have a link to the stuff you bought? I'm just wondering if it will be a pain to cut down to size.

Re: Found mesh
I think it will work.
It looks bendy enough in the pic where it's in the gutters. Def let me know how it works out when you pick it up!

Re: Found mesh
That gutter guard appears to be similar to the plastic canvas, only bigger. I have see a few people use it instead. I would still rinse it off in your dechlorinated freshwater first to be safe.
