Tank rim

I'm working on a 75gal rimless tank. The problem is that the lid doesn't fit. I'm trying to attach a strip of foam to the outside edge to fill in the space bit it's difficult to know exactly how thick I need it. Any suggestions to fix this other than the foam?

You could just order a trim. I have seen some I don’t know how expensive they are but it would be much easier and more efficient. If you don’t want to order then I am not an expert on that type of stuff I am sure other people would know a lot more about that. .^)

If was purchased as a rimless, there are glass lid kits that come with clips.

It was purchased used. But wouldn't the clip need something to clip onto? The top of the lid to the tank?

The clips go over the glass and create a shelf for the lid. https://www.marinedepot.com/innovative- ... WjEALw_wcB

Cpuld also do a eurobrace, where you silicone a glass strip along the inside perimeter. But then its not really rimless after that.

I really don't know how I missed this a few months ago when searching.
